What is an escape room/escape game/room escape/panic room?
An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players are put in a room and have to use elements in the room to solve a series of puzzles and escape (or accomplish a task) in a set time limit. These are real life versions of the popular online games.
What floor is your escape located on? Is there an elevator?
We are located on the second floor at 1301 Leeland St and this historical building does not have an elevator.

How many participants are in the session?
You will need a minimum of 4, and maximum of 10 people. You may be in a session with other people you do not know. The entire group is on the same team working together to escape.
How long will it take?
Allow one and half hours for the entire session for rules, escape, post-show recap and group photo. You’ll also want to arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time to sign in and use the facilities.
What should I bring with me?
Your inner Sherlock Holmes and all the sleuthing skills you can muster! You will be using your abilities of perception, deduction, communication, and reasoning to escape. Don’t give up! Keep searching for clues. You are going to have to work fast!
What should I wear?
You should wear clothes that you can move easily in. Shoes should be comfortable as you may be standing for an entire hour. Absolutely no high heeled shoes will be allowed in Trapped In A Room With A Zombie.
Are cell phones permitted?
Cell phones are not allowed to be used in the room. The use of electronic devices or any outside tools are strictly prohibited and you will immediately be removed from the show if you attempt to use them.
What happens if I arrive late?
The door to the room closes exactly at the time you signed up for. Please arrive 15 minutes early to make sure you are there before the room is locked. You will not be permitted into the room if you are late. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS.
How old do you have to be?
We do not recommend this show for children under the age of 8. Guests ages 8-14 must be accompanied by a paying adult in the room. Anyone under the age of 18 must print out and bring a liability release waiver signed by their parent/legal guardian. A minimum of two adults must accompany and stay on site with groups of children (including birthday parties) under the age of 18. Infants and toddlers will not be allowed in the room.
What if I am pregnant?
We do not recommend Trapped In A Room With A Zombie for women who are pregnant. Other rooms anyone can participate if you are healthy enough to stand for a full 60 minutes and move easily around a room.
What if I am epileptic?
There are no strobe/flashing lights used in the shows. There is a buzzer (similar to a school bell) that rings every 5 minutes in Trapped In A Room With A Zombie and other loud noises that may occur over the course of the adrenaline-packed, hour-long shows.
What if I need some liquid courage?
People who are intoxicated/under the influence are not allowed into the room. If we feel you are too inebriated to participate, you will be asked to leave without a refund. There are many bars around our location where you can toast to your survival after you escape.
Will I need to protect myself with more than my wits?
There are no firearms allowed into the room. Additionally, we have no place to secure weapons on location, so make sure they are locked up and secure elsewhere before you come in.
Can I schedule a private show for just our group?
To reserve an entire session for your group, you need to purchase all 10 tickets at once. Please contact us if you would like to reserve a private party with what time you would like to come in. All of our regularly scheduled show times are listed on our ticketing page. If you do not see a date/time listed that you would like to attend we will create a special session time for you based on availability.
Can I reschedule/send someone in my place?
Yes, tickets are transferable, so you can have someone else take your spot. If you would like to reschedule, email us at email@example.com with your order number and we may be able to reschedule you.
72+ hours notice: Reschedule to any available time slot.
72-24 hours notice: Rescheduling fee of $10 per ticket.
Less than 24 hours notice: No refunds, no reschedules.
Do the clues in the room change?
No, the clues stay the same, but we have more rooms in the works. Like us on Facebook for announcements on new escape rooms! If we do change the clues in a room we will announce it and mark it on our website. Email firstname.lastname@example.org about helping us beta test rooms as we’re developing them.
