Team Building

Escape rooms bring to life the mental challenges and adventure of online Escape Games, the pressure of Minute To Win It and the sleuthing of Sherlock Holmes to create a pulse pounding team building activity that will have your mind racing and adrenaline flowing.  Our team building sessions allow participants to be the protagonists in an exciting plot that evolves differently each session based on the groups personalities and past experiences.  Bring your co-workers and prepare to see a side of them you may not have seen before!  They’ll laugh, fret and beam with pride as you work together solving puzzles and racing against the clock to escape!

Our scripts are written to be challenging but highly possible to achieve success when all members of a team work together and demonstrate group spirit!

“You will get eaten if you don’t work together as a team….it is that simple”  – Dr. Oxy

Our highly popular team building sessions create laughter, fun and a highly unique experience that will be remembered around the office for a long time to come.  All while giving companies the opportunity to have their employees practice using their skills in communication, organization, critical thinking, logic and creativity in a high pressure apocalyptic zombie survival scenario….kind of like every day in the office!

At the end of your room escape session, your team will partake in the Curtain Call, where our staff will analyze your moves, decisions, how you communicated and what roles each participant played in the escape.  We also provide a list of discussion questions for each group to take to their next team meeting to help facilitate group discussion.

Meeting Space:

Most corporate team building groups set up, dinner, drinks or a meeting before or after their session that allow them to discuss and analyze their adventure.  We offer a private event party space for groups that may match your needs for a meeting or party space.  Email for additional pricing and options.

The team building sessions run continuously throughout the year.  To reserve a private session that your team will not forget, please email  Private show times during the week outside of our normal sessions can be arranged.

You’re scared. You have questions. Let us put your mind at ease, if only because a mind at ease is tastier.

What is an escape room/escape game/room escape/panic room?
An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players are put in a room and have to use elements in the room to solve a series of puzzles and escape (or accomplish a task) in a set time limit.  These are real life versions of the popular online games.

What happens if the zombie touches me?
Don’t get touched by the crawling zombie!  If you get touched by the crawling zombie, you will be required to sit and no longer will be permitted to search for clues, but you can still participate verbally.  The zombie is chained to a wall and may not roam freely, but the chain is released another foot every five minutes so you better be quick at putting together the clues, solving the puzzles and finding the key that will set you free, otherwise you will be zombie bait.

How many participants are in the session?
The script is written to allow up to 10 people in a session at once.  You may be in a session with other people you do not know.  The entire group is on the same team working together to escape and not get eaten.

How long will it take?
This depends on how much smarter you are than a zombie!  If you do not find all the clues and solve the puzzles that unlock the door within 60 minutes, you will be eaten by a zombie and we will have to remove your body from the room.  Allow one and half hours for the entire session for instruction time, a solution explanation and an analysis of your team building traits.

Will I really get eaten if I don’t escape?
Cannibalism has been outlawed since 1804, so the zombie is not legally permitted to eat you.

What should I bring with me?

Your inner Sherlock Holmes and all the sleuthing skills you can muster! You will be using your abilities of perception, deduction, communication, and reasoning to escape. Don’t give up!  Keep searching for clues. You are going to have to work fast!

What should I wear?
Be prepared to move around for an hour avoiding the zombie! You should wear clothes that you can move easily in. Shoes should be flat and closed toe. Absolutely no high heeled shoes will be allowed in the room.

Are cell phones permitted?
Cell phones are not allowed to be used in the room.  The use of electronic devices or any outside tools are strictly prohibited and you will immediately be removed from the show if you attempt to use them.

What happens if I arrive late?
The door to the room closes exactly at the time you signed up for.  Please arrive 15 minutes early to make sure you are there before the room is locked.  You will not be permitted into the room if you are late.  THERE ARE NO REFUNDS.

How old do you have to be?
We do not recommend this show for children under the age of 8.  Appetizers…er, guests ages 8-14 must be accompanied by a paying adult in the room. Anyone under the age of 18 must print out and bring a liability release waiver signed by their parent/legal guardian. A minimum of two adults must accompany and stay on site with groups of children (including birthday parties) under the age of 18. Infants and toddlers will not be allowed in the room; zombies do not like baby food.

What if I am pregnant?
We do not recommend this show for women who are pregnant.

What if I am epileptic?
There are no strobe/flashing lights used in the show; however there is a buzzer (similar to a school bell) that rings every 5 minutes and other loud noises that occur over the course of the adrenaline-packed, hour-long show.

What if I need some liquid courage?
People who are drunk are not allowed into the room. If we feel you are too inebriated to participate, you will be asked to leave without a refund.  There are many bars around our location where you can toast to your survival after you escape.

Will I need to protect myself with more than my wits?
There are no firearms allowed into the room. Additionally, we have no place to secure weapons on location, so make sure they are locked up and secure elsewhere before you come in.

Can I schedule a private show for just our group?
To reserve an entire session for your group, you need to purchase all 10 tickets at oncePlease contact us if there are no session times available with 10 tickets and we will create a special session time for you based on availability.

Can I reschedule/send someone in my place?
Yes, tickets are transferable, so you can have someone else take your spot.  If you would like to reschedule, email us at with your order number and we may be able to reschedule you.
72+ hours notice:  Reschedule to any available time slot.
72-24 hours notice:  Rescheduling fee of $10 per ticket.

Do the clues in the room change?
As of 9/30/2017 there will be all new puzzles in Trapped In A Room With A Zombie: Brain Harvest.  This puzzle set is unique to the current Baltimore and Houston locations.  Currently the clues for each room stay the same, but if we do change the clues again or make new rooms we will note it on the website.  We also have more rooms!  Like us on Facebook for announcements on new escape rooms! Email about helping us beta test rooms as we’re developing them.

I went through before and want to try the new puzzles!  How do I sign up?
